Hershey Labs built the Fit Terminal app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Hershey Labs at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page informs visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

Data We Collect

Fit Terminal supports both local-only use and optional cloud sync. Depending on how you use the app, we may collect the following categories of data:

Personal info: Email address (when signing in with Google or Apple OAuth).
Health and fitness: Workout history, workout sessions, habits, body weight, body measurements, custom exercises, and dashboard widget sync data.
App info and performance: Crash logs and diagnostics.
Device or other IDs: Device identifiers used for crash and diagnostic analysis.

How Data Is Used

We use collected data for:

App functionality (saving/syncing your fitness records and enabling cross-device use).
Account management (sign-in, account linking, and account deletion handling).
Analytics (crash reporting and diagnostics to improve stability and performance).

Data Sharing

Some data is shared with service providers that power core functionality:

Supabase for authentication, database storage, and secure backend functions.
Google and Apple for OAuth authentication flows.
Sentry for crash logging and diagnostics.

Optional vs Required Collection

Email and fitness data are optional because users can choose local-only mode without signing in. If you enable cloud sync by signing in, this data is transmitted and stored to provide sync functionality. Crash/diagnostic data may be collected for app reliability.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS). Cloud data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with access controls, including row-level security policies so users can only access their own records.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud data in the app. See Delete Account & Data Request for full steps and retention details.

Local on-device data is managed on your device and may remain unless you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Service Providers

We use third-party providers strictly to operate and improve the service, including Supabase, Google/Apple OAuth, and Sentry.

Children's Privacy

These Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
